IT System Analyst III

What is the opportunity?

What will you do?

  • Create the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Optiom infrastructure and systems.
  • Provide technical leadership around projects, changes, and system outages/events.
  • Manage the tool stacks while researching and recommending new technologies.
  • Align with the overall Business Architecture framework, IT strategy, strategic drivers, and standards.
  • Lead in the research and implementation of software tool stacks, information systems and technologies.
  • Lead in investigating, analyzing, defining, tailoring, and implementing technology solutions to create greater alignment between technology and business goals.
  • Ensure optimal uptimes are achieved for critical systems and revenue.
  • Provide support and coverage for IT Analysts as required. This includes handling client support issues, procurement of hardware, and provisioning of equipment.
  • Play a key role in critical incidents around system outages or security events. Identifying root causes and timelines of such events.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
  • Provide recommendations around integrations and best practices.
  • Be proactive and fix issues you see even when others may not see them yet.

  • Strong work ethic along with being punctual and reliable. This would include going over and above when needed.
  • Problem solver with the ability to prioritize and coordinate between tasks.
  • Able to write or verbally express concise easy to follow instructions for the enduser.
  • Ability to clearly document problems, solutions, and important information for the team.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Networking, Firewall, and Application Support.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft stack including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and Azure.
  • Strong knowledge in networking, firewall management and Endpoint Protection.
  • Expert knowledge of integration and automation of information systems and tools stacks.
  • Strong experience in various information system implementations with best practice.
