The Role

As a part of the sales team at Spence, you embody our culture and values by delivering an outstanding client experience and demonstrating a passion for our products. As a Diamond Consultant, you guide our clients through the Spence sales journey and excel at building relationships. You are eager to follow a structured sales process and consistently meet your sales targets.

What is the Spence Experience? The more knowledge a customer has about diamonds, the more likely they are to make a purchase from us. Your task will be to ensure our customers are well-informed about diamonds. We will provide you with all the necessary training to become a diamond sales expert in just 5 weeks. Diamonds and diamond jewelry are our specialty.

  • Guide customers through the Spence sales journey
  • Deliver client presentations and solution proposals
  • Execute weekly sales activities
  • Exceed monthly sales targets by sharing expert knowledge and offering top-notch customer experiences
  • Maintain leads and establish client rapport
  • Follow up with clients via phone and email
  • Stay updated on product knowledge to enhance customer experiences
  • Assist in opening and closing store operations
  • Perform various tasks as required, including maintaining showroom cleanliness, merchandising, inventory checks, and other assigned responsibilities

Qualifications we hope you possess...

  • A proven track record with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a successful sales professional in an inside or outside role (e.g., real estate, cellular, automotive, investment services, office equipment, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and receptive to a structured process
  • Drive sales success through analysis of metrics and focused coaching
  • Dedicated to collaborating as a team to achieve store sales goals
  • Comfortable confidently presenting valuable products in an educational setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional interactions in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Ability to establish positive connections with clients in a public-facing setting
  • Highly disciplined with natural enthusiasm and an outgoing, open-minded demeanor
  • Proficient in computer skills and willing to adapt to new systems
  • Given that this is a Full-Time role, availability to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings on a rotating schedule is necessary as we operate 7 days a week
