Position Summary: The Combo Vacuum Truck Operator will collaborate with the GFL Team to deliver top-notch service to clients.

Services provided:

  • Hydro excavating
  • Confined space entry
  • Spill cleanup
  • Line flushing
  • Power washing
  • Sump cleaning
  • Water hauling
  • Loading and hauling of various fluids/material

The selected candidate will execute this wide range of tasks emphasizing safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial setting
  • Follow company policies and on-site requirements
  • Provide exceptional service to clients
  • Complete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs
  • Maintain company documentation accurately
  • Demonstrate commitment to environmental compliance
  • Participate in safety programs
  • Work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate well

Requirements:

  • Class 1 or 3 driver's license with a clean abstract
  • 2 years of Industrial vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavating experience
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Safety-focused attitude
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance on units
  • Good health and physical condition
  • Willingness to accept after-hour calls
  • Some short-term travel and overnight stays may be necessary
  • Valid safety tickets considered as an asset
