Junior Product Manager

Role Description

No prior Product Management or Non-destructive Testing experience is required.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing world-class team who are revolutionizing how industrial players assess the condition of their mission-critical assets.


This role will be based out of DarkVision's head office in North Vancouver, Canada, report to our Senior Product Manager, and have exposure to all teams throughout our organization (Engineering, Sales, Data Analysis, Engineering, and Innovation).


Responsibilities

Market Pulse:With many emerging downhole product opportunities, there are countless events, client meetings, technical papers, journal articles, webinars, and presentations you will monitor and distill into key insights for executive audiences. You must regularly disseminate these distilled insights for the broader DarkVision product, engineering, sales, and executive teams to inform our go-to-market strategies and timing.

Customer Deliverables: DarkVision currently delivers highly differentiated downhole inspection datasets, visualizations, and reports as our final product to Oil & Gas companies worldwide. We have a high bar for quality, impact, and consistency. You will monitor and audit DarkVision's day-to-day downhole deliverables to help ensure that they are differentiated, timely, and always solving our clients' objectives.

Competitive and Market Analysis: Understand and monitor what our downhole competitors deliver today and what they are working towards in the future. With the support of the Sr. Product Managers, you will be responsible for updating our competitive analysis. Track, communicate, and make suggestions for our current and future downhole products to remain differentiated.

Expectations

  • Technical Degree required (Engineering preferred).
  • Prior experience with downhole Oil & Gas or mining operations or services is a benefit but not required.
  • Solid business acumen rooted in pragmatism.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Relentlessly resourceful you're willing to do anything and everything to succeed.
  • Selfsufficient and able to balance risk/reward and make decisions x with limited supervision.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
