Position Summary:
Provides basic farm maintenance to all corporate farm locations.

Job Functions /Responsibilities

  • Basic farm maintenance
  • Delivering supplies
  • Executing maintenance schedule
  • Possible yard work when required
  • Possible farm chores when required
  • Backup to maintenance manager when needed

Skills/ Experience

  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Able to problem solve mechanically
  • Treatment of animals with the outmost respect
  • Safety conscious
  • Comfortable working on ladders
  • Possess the willingness to do a multitude of different tasks daily

Education and Specifications

  • Maintains prompt and courteous response to farm team requests
  • Grade 12 education mandatory. Mechanical trade certification will be added advantage
  • Be successdriven and have a "can do" attitude
  • Be able to work independently, as well as being a strong team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Have a good safety record
  • Class 5 driver's license

Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday min 40hrs per week

Company van with fuel card (up to 30% personal use

Compensation for cell phone $35 per month

Job Types:
