Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Labourer to join our team at Allan Styles. As a Grounds Maintenance Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our properties, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly secured and stable.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep the grounds clean.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed to maintain the grounds.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the appearance of the grounds.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
Work Environment:

As a Grounds Maintenance Labourer, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements:
  • Dependability and flexibility are essential for this role.
  • Organized and reliable, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
