Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing precision parts using various tools and machinery. This is a full-time position located at our warehouse in mississauga.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manual and computercontrolled machines to fabricate metal parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Measure, examine, and test completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or issues
  • Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and other factors
  • Maintain proper inventory of materials and supplies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
  • Proficiency in operating manual and computercontrolled machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Effective communication skills

$16.55 per hour
