Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing precision parts using various tools and machinery. This is a full-time position located at our warehouse in mississauga.
**Responsibilities**:
- Set up and operate manual and computer-controlled machines to fabricate metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Measure, examine, and test completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or issues
- Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and other factors
- Maintain proper inventory of materials and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
- Proficiency in operating manual and computer-controlled machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Strong problem-solving skills
