Job Overview
Reporting to the Sales Manager, as the
Sales Assistant you will support the new home sales process.
You also assist in maintaining the assigned showhomes and sales centre and provide customers with an exceptional customer experience throughout the home buying process.
Part time:
Minimum 20 hours/week
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, register guests in CRM database and ensuring excellent customer service is provided.
- Tracking customer information, assisting in qualifying potential purchasers and converting them into qualified buyers.
- Continually inspecting and ensuring showhomes and sales center are appealing and presentable. Attending to items such as tidying décor items, straightening signage, maintaining inventory of supplies, marketing brochures and handouts.
- Assisting the StreetSide marketing team where applicable, in areas such as event organization, marketing functions, and sales presentations.
- Gaining a thorough knowledge of the projects details, such as floor plans, pricing, options, and neighbourhood.
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential buyers and Realtors within the community.
- Responsible for daily and weekly reporting of the sales centre statistics.
- A strong communicator; you clearly express your thoughts in conversation and in written communication.
- An active listener; you seek to understand and listen to others in a nonjudgmental way.
- Mindful; you respect diversity and deal with sensitive situations using high degree of integrity.
- Excellent service oriented; you handle relations with customers, internal and external parties with tact and diplomacy.

Essential Requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and CRM/TMS systems (Avesdo or similar).
Preferred Requirements
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking is preferred.
- Prior experience working in the Residential Home Building industry is an asset.

Work Conditions
Primarily works in a show home or sales centre setting. This position works 4-5 days per week, including weekends, from approximately 11:00AM - 5:15PM. Travel to off-site meetings or other show homes are occasionally required.
