We are currently hiring a
Heavy Duty Truck Dismantler to join our team of professionals in ensuring we continue to provide reliable parts sales/service.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as a team member to provide support to our used parts sales & service team. This may be in the form of removing parts from trucks in inventory, dismantling trucks for recycling or assisting the service department.
- High level of competency with using air & hand tools for removing parts off of trucks.
- Experience with using oxy/acetylene torches.
- An individual that is honest, hardworking and reliable.
- We are hiring individuals that is looking to build a career and not just collect a pay cheque.
- Previous heavy truck dismantling experience is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift 75lbs.
- Previous forklift or wheel loader experience an asset.
- Ability to work for long periods of time on your feet and walking long distances throughout our 14 acre facility.
- Ability to work outside throughout the year dismantling heavy trucks and truck parts.
Responsibilities
- Dismantling and removing parts from heavy truck salvage to be sold to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of shops & yard.
- Drain and evacuate all liquids and batteries from heavy vehicles to be stored in the yard.
- Prepare parts for shipping and receiving.
