ABOUT VIVUS PETS


Vivus Pets is an all-natural plant-based dog food company that is on the mission to create nutritious, healthy, and delicious pet foods for our furmily without harming other animals and the environment.


JOB SUMMARY


Armed with a deep knowledge of the product and its real-world applicability, our Sales Associates will cultivate existing relationships and work diligently to build new ones.

This is a position where you will be part of the whole business, not just the Sales department.

  • You will be given a region and have the flexibility of making a schedule that fits your life.
  • You will primarily be responsible for acquiring new retail, veterinary clinic, grocery, and health food store customers through effective prospecting and sales techniques.
  • Regularly travel to visit current accounts to educate and help them to maintain a high level of Vivus Pets product knowledge.
  • Close sales and send sales orders to the fulfilment and accounting teams.
  • Support new product launches via in person retailer visits.
  • Serve as the key point of contact between Vivus Pets and customers in relation to enquiries, quotations and orders.
  • Represent Vivus at industry events and expos.
  • Work with the leadership to develop goals for each partner and develop a plan to meet or exceed these goals.
  • Help the customer service team to expedite weekly customer shipments and resolve any issues that may arise deliver to the store when needed.
  • Provide retailer feedback to the product development team.
  • Other salesrelated tasks as required

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR


You're passionate about delivering a transformational client experience, building our brand one client at a time and driving business through sales.

You also have a keen interest in working for a local start-up company

  • Post secondary education in Sales / Marketing / Customer Service / Business discipline is an asset
years of sales experience, B2B experience is preferred

  • Pet Care industry sales experience is an asset
  • Strong personal selling and customer relations skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License & access to your own car
  • Own laptop computer + internet connection
  • Ability to work from your home office as well as go out to meet with clients on a daily asset
  • A strong commitment to service, a genuine interest in the wellbeing of pets, a support for sustainability of the planet and exceptional selling skills.
