Role Description

Qualifications

  • A postsecondary degree/diploma in social work/social services/child and youth services etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience of working with transitionalaged youth, youth homelessness and substance use/abuse
  • Knowledge of and experience working in residential treatment for Children under the Ministry Guidelines are a plus
  • A proven ability to work independently, taking initiative and thinking creatively are required
  • Fluency in French and/or another language(s) is also an asset
  • CPR certification or willingness to be certified is required
  • Good judgement, problemsolving and assessment skills
  • Committed to antiracist/antioppressive practice and to the mission and values of Good Shepherd

Schedule: Part-Time includes rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights), 2 shifts on weekends and stat holidays
