Job Purpose

The Warehouse Employee is the linchpin between our customers and sales team, taking charge of a customer order from initiation to completion and escalating issues when necessary. Additionally, this role involves significant responsibility in managing inventory at the respective facility. All tasks must adhere to Health and Safety Guidelines.

Total Compensation

  • $21/hr
  • 4% Annual Short Term Incentive bonus based on company and employee performance
  • 3 Weeks Vacation + 5 Personal/Sick Days
  • 3 Floater days off at the discretion of the company

Key Activities

  • Order Management: Processing, confirmation, and fulfillment of orders
  • Communication: Interacting with Sales, customers, and other relevant parties as needed
  • Inventory Management: Handling shipping, receiving, data entry, and product tinting
  • Health, Safety & Sustainability: Adhering to all prescribed Health & Safety Protocols, AkzoNobel Core Values, and Code of Conduct

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year warehouse experience, with Customer Service skills being an advantage
  • Proficient in driving a Forklift and capable of operating various material handling equipment post-training
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, knowledge of SAP is beneficial
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs regularly and endure prolonged standing
  • Attention to detail: ensuring accurate order picking, following color formulas, and standards
  • Proficiency in English and/or French (Bilingualism is an asset)
