Description

Read assembly drawings and weld simple and complex components, including pipes, according to drawings or other production documents and instructions. Handle components and assemblies with electric winch, forklift and/or overhead crane. Check and repair weld leaks according to specifications and established methods. Occasionally mark, assemble and tack simple and complex components according to drawings or other production documents and instructions. Solder, grind and occasionally mark, assemble and tack copper foils inside tanks or other components. Minimize distortion caused by soldering. Solder and desolder current transformer components in this department. Complete check sheets and required documents.

Essential:

Diploma of vocational studies obtained following training lasting 18 months to 2 years Minimum 2 years' relevant experience Knowledge and ability to use oxy-acetylene equipment and electric arc welding (SMAW, GMAW, SAW, FCAW, pulsed arc), on all metals and in all positions.
