Repair and maintain machinery, plumbing, structure and fixtures in accordance with blueprints and other drawings Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to specifications Mark, assemble and punch simple and complex components according to drawings or other documents Operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machinery equipment parts Clean, lubricate, inspect, disassemble and repair simple machinery Measure, cut and install piping for air, water and other plumbing equipment Fabricate and repair countertops, tubs, partitions and other wood structures Paint walls, floors, wood and fixtures Assist with electrical maintenance High-pressure welding of simple and complex components Checking and repairing weld leaks, according to established specifications and methods Handle components and assemblies using electric winches and overhead cranes Design templates for induction loops Respond to plant service calls Participate in the design and implementation of projects originating in the industrial engineering department Select, procure and verify required materials.

Essential:

Diploma of Vocational Studies obtained following training lasting 18 months to 2 years Minimum 3 years' relevant experience Skill in carpentry
