As a Business Analyst, Global Experience Technologies, you will have a concrete impact by suggesting ways to operate more efficiently at Canam.

  • Use data modeling techniques to identify ways in which the organization, business unit or department can operate more efficiently.
  • Communicate with senior management in the organization, business unit or department to find out what they hope to accomplish.
  • Formulate ways for the business to improve, based on previous research.
  • Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technologies or strategies.
  • Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Lead workshops and training.
  • Explore the current functioning of the organization through research, which could include employee interviews and quantitative data collection.
  • Explore different solutions, their risks, benefits, and impacts.
  • Propose solutions to the leaders of the organization and keep them informed of progress.
  • Create documents to describe the proposed changes and the steps involved.
  • Ensure that changes are made for example, overseeing the implementation of a new technology or approach.
  • Contribute to the training and support of those affected by the new systems and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science or any other related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, with at least 2 years of experience in an advisory role with business sectors with a view to aligning business needs and IT solutions.
  • Commercial awareness, business acumen.
  • Experience working with complex data and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with people at all levels of an organization.
  • Time management, problemsolving and organizational skills.
  • Interest and understanding of project management techniques.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace, and Smartsheet.
  • Knowledge of data systems and structures.
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, bills of material.
  • Experience and knowledge in using CRM in sales, marketing in the manufacturing field, and the logistics of loading and transporting bulk materials and finished products in the manufacturing sector is an asset.
  • Experience and knowledge in commercial and/or industrial construction project management.
  • Knowledge of Web portal, Web analyzes and statistics, management of social networks, campaigns, CRM are assets.
