"This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.

You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.

We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.

We partner extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including product aligned Middle Office groups, Settlements, Margin, Asset Servicing, Listed Derivative & Commodities Operations.

We support an extensive range of Capital Markets products and services including Fixed Income (FX, Rates, Credit, Muni, Cash and Derivatives) where Client is consistently a dominant top 3 player in the market, Equity (Cash, Derivatives, Prime Brokerage, Futures, Listed Derivatives, FXPB) where Client has a significant growth program to continue to build out its capabilities and services; and Syndicates where we support both FI and EQ new issues and IPOs.

As part of the Inventory Management Applications Suite, Lead Business Analyst would be gathering / analyzing requirements for very high volume / low latency enterprise multi-tiered Java applications that provide cutting edge solutions for the Position/ stock record systems in the Capital Markets domain while following the industry best practices and Client standards.

The requirement calls for a Lead Business Analyst who can analyze the business requirement, conceptualize, and help in designing the solution while working independently or with a distributed team of analysts / developers working simultaneously on different application layers towards developing enterprise solutions for large projects.

This requires a highly experienced analyst who has a proven track record of delivering requirements for highly scalable robust applications that use the latest tools and technologies while working on all phases of the development life cycle.

A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
Responsibilities
" Liaise with client's business and technology teams supporting a fast paced agile development environment.
" Gather project requirements / identify gaps by interacting with the business team through interviews, group discussion sessions and questionnaires
" Analyze and design solutions to meet the project requirements / stakeholder expectations that can be captured as respective user stories in JIRA.
" Prepare process maps and suggest recommendations and improvements to the current process to meet the business/project need.
" Work with a geographically distributed technology team to ensure that the requirements / business need are well understood and the solution developed are in line with the requirements.
" Act as a functional / system expert and facilitate knowledge sharing / management within the team
" Plan the approach, tools and templates to be used, timelines and monitor performance for analysis work
" Meet customer requirements with least amount of rework and high amount of test coverage in the least amount of time
" Identify existing system bottlenecks and deficiencies, devise and assist in implementing robust solutions to address these shortcomings.
" Effectively communicate project updates with stakeholders to keep them informed of project status.

Qualifications
" 7-10 years of Business Analysis experience that includes requirements elicitation, requirements management, solution assessment and validation
" Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering / Management
" Able to write (minimum level to analyze data) / understand PL SQL queries to model the current state
" Experience in working on Agile projects and acting as a product owner
" Experience in using JIRA to track requirements / stories
" Experience of working in a globally distributed team, working in different time zones
" Excellent communication skills Oral, written and interpersonal / time management skills
" Good team player
" Knowledge of Investment Banking Services, Brokerage for Institutions / retail customers. Knowledge of Clearing and Settlement domain
" Knowledge of Brokerage Processing Services and IMPACT applications from Client
" Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
" Business Analysis certification like CBAP from IIBA or BA certification from PMI is a plus
" Certification - Scrum Master / Product Owner is a plus
" Experience of working on Use case based business analysis is a plus
