We are currently hiring a full-time Security Guard for one of our locations in The Pas, Manitoba.

What are the duties of a Security Guard in Winnipeg?

  • Conduct visible deterrence and follow security procedures
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and maintain a visitor log
  • Be ready to respond to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, and security breaches
  • Perform exterior and interior patrols utilizing a Gtrack device
  • Complete Daily and Incident Reports using Gtrack
  • Ensure proper information exchange with relief guards
  • Manage crowds and maintain order and safety

What are the qualifications required to become a Security Guard in Winnipeg?

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in the security industry is advantageous
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
  • Customer service-focused
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • Comfortable interacting with unauthorized individuals
  • First Aid certification is a plus
  • Proficient with technology-based systems
  • Detail-oriented
