About the Role


We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to take on the role of National Project Coordinator for an ambitious initiative aimed at strengthening the economic inclusion of immigrant talent in Canada.

As the National Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the project by facilitating engagement, coordination, and collaboration among various stakeholders, including project delivery partners, employers, government departments, and other key system actors.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and implement a real-time feedback mechanism that will directly impact the integration and inclusion of newcomers into the Canadian labor market.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Scheduling

  • Collaborate directly with project stakeholders to define crystalclear project objectives, scope, and deliverables, setting the stage for success.
  • Craft a comprehensive project plan that maps out tasks, timelines, and resource allocation, showcasing your strategic acumen.
  • Establish and maintain dynamic project schedules, continually monitoring progress and nimbly adjusting as needed for optimal outcomes.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assume the pivotal role of primary contact for all projectrelated communications, empowering you to build valuable relationships.
  • Skillfully orchestrate regular meetings, fostering collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Elevate your influence by delivering timely updates to key stakeholders on project status, milestones achieved, and potential risks, showcasing your leadership.

Resource Allocation, Management, and Risk Mitigation

  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure efficient and effective resource allocation, fueling project success.
  • Exemplify your resource management prowess by diligently monitoring utilization and adeptly recalibrating to meet project objectives.
  • Embrace challenges headon by identifying potential project risks and ingeniously crafting mitigation strategies, positioning yourself as a risk management champion.
Documentation, Reporting, and Fiscal Excellence

  • Showcase your meticulous nature by maintaining meticulous and current project documentation, including meeting records and progress reports.
  • Elevate your impact by generating regular status reports and presenting comprehensive project updates to senior management, showcasing your communication skills.
  • Immerse yourself in the financial aspects of project management, aiding in budget development and meticulously tracking expenditures, while ensuring fiscal prudence in collaboration with the finance team.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Progress

  • Instill excellence by vigilantly monitoring project deliverables, ensuring they align with quality benchmarks and project goals.
  • Elevate project outcomes by implementing precisiondriven quality control processes, underscoring your commitment to perfection.
  • Be a catalyst for ongoing improvement by actively participating in postproject reviews, harvesting valuable lessons and contributing to the evolution of project management practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Project Management, etc.); PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably on nationallevel projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
