Job Summary:


The Project Coordinator is responsible for the administration and organization for all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.

This role reports to Project Managers on a day-to-day basis and works closely with them in the preparation and administration of project artifacts.

You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries.

This role requires that you be detail-oriented, dependable, a problem solver and a good communicator.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of the project plan, according to the decided delivery approach and technology platform to meet solution requirements with the appropriate IT and business teams.
  • Ensuring the adherence to the IT Project Standards practice for the management of all project work.
  • Ensure service data management compliance for reporting and metrics. All required reporting fields are completed, updated, and maintained.
  • Ensuring the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organized. Communicating with various teams to keep everyone on board about any changes to the project plan and schedule. In addition, organizing reporting, plan meetings and provide updates to project managers.
  • Coordinate the approval of contracts with Ledcor compliance and activities with vendors to ensure timely implementation and proper documentation.

Requirements:

  • Recently completed a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related discipline
  • Up to 2 years project coordination experience working in enterprise project, program, and portfolio environments
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and timemanagement
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand the operating styles of others as well as team/client relationships, team dynamics, and adjusts behavior accordingly to succeed
  • Project Administration/Coordination certification is preferred
  • Experience in supporting various delivery practices and methodologies, i.e., Waterfall and Agile/Iterative
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts
  • Experience working in IS as a shared service, proving services to a diverse group of companies
  • Experience in supporting IS engagements for mid to large size enterprises.
