About the Director, Supply Role
The role is responsible for supporting the accelerated value growth of PMA, WG&S and our other partners through demand management and inventory analysis. Improve supply chain performance by developing and implementing forecasting process (S&OP) and providing suppliers regular demand forecasts to enable production planning, etc. Provide support to commercial sales team by analysing and reporting on liquor board inventory levels and help sales influence in getting orders as needed.

Direct Reports: 2-3 employees
Location: Oakville, ON (Hybrid), in office 3 days per week
Key Deliverables
- Manage S&OP process for WG&S and key partners.
- Manage inventory reporting for consignment markets (BC and Alberta) and requisition replenishment process as needed to minimize warehouse costs, out of stocks and stale dated stock. (manage warehouse fee budget)
- Review/plan inventory levels in Scotland warehouse for WG&S and help manage stock levels and replenishment.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships, proactively recommend and implement process improvements in supply chain in order to add value to customers and suppliers.
- Track and report against inventory in customer (liquor board) warehouses to enable identification of order requirements, days of inventory. Able to influence future orders and explain shipment variances to forecasts.
- Build demand forecast models to more accurately predict customer depletions and resulting shipment demand for suppliers.
- Work closely with commercial finance to ensure a strong tie between volume forecasts and financial plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer service departments of suppliers to better facilitate and promote communications and flow of information between Suppliers, PMA and LCB customers.
- Manage relationship with 3rd party warehouse operators and ensure best rates achieved for PMA.
- Supervise and coach direct reports.
- Work with regional sales teams, and marketing teams to help fix supply chain issues. (late/short shipments/etc.)
- Liaise with suppliers on production scheduling coordination and advise the business on challenges to influence orders when standard lead times not met.
- Understand and provide input to supply chain strategy for key partners.
- Other duties as required.

- Change Management: Demonstrated ability in implementing process and system change internally/externally. Establish implementation steps, supporting/influencing direct reports/stakeholders and monitoring post-change activities/course correcting when needed.
Qualifications
- 10 Years+ Experience in demand planning and supply chain function.
- Business Degree from a recognized University with a focus in Supply or Operations management preferred.
- Previous Canadian Beverage Alcohol Experience an asset. | or previous CPG industry at minimum.
- Experience managing a team.
- Experience dealing with senior leadership in organization.
- Operations acumen and inventory management knowledge.
- Demand planning/forecasting. Optimal inventory management.
- Canadian Beverage Alcohol Industry and LCB distribution model understanding.
- Excellent communications and organization skills
- Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook) and Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Forecasting and modelling skills
- Excellent follow-up skills.
- Ability to identify and manage various stakeholder priorities.
