As part of the Learning team and reporting to the Learning Manager, this role will support the development and ongoing execution of Aecon's key leadership and role-based programs.


What You'll Do Here

  • Partner with business units to gather learning program feedback and work with learning leadership to align those to current and future programs on our program roadmap.
  • Collaborate with a team of learning experience designers to assess upcoming course releases and potential adjustments to learning programs, as well as design and develop a variety of learning solutions (ILT, VILT and WBT.)
  • Manage program timelines and milestones, and support program logistics (e.g. registration, bookings with LMS administration team.)
  • Maintain existing and develop new partnerships with external vendors and instructors to support program delivery needs.
  • Deliver and maintain a cadence of consistent, impactful and concise communications with program participants and sponsors.
  • Track and manage program analytics dashboard and reporting (adoption, completion, etc.)

  • Leadership Knowledge
  • Aware of current coaching and leadership development trends.


Learning Practitioner
  • Demonstrated experience in design and development techniques, evaluation strategies, and continuous improvement for inclass, elearning, virtual and blended modalities.


Project Management
  • Capable to ensure ontime delivery across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.


Change Leadership
  • Able to support the gathering of stakeholder needs and intended outcomes, and support change planning towards a desired behaviour.


Communication
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written) and able to effectively engage clients in a variety of formats and discussions. Ability to develop and implement communication campaigns for large project launches.


Consulting
  • Facilitate discussions with clients to gather learning needs, course feedback, present solutions.
  • Navigate a matrixed organization with ability to influence without authority.
  • Technical proficiency in: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word, virtual delivery tools, e.g. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Articulate Storyline.
  • Experience in the construction industry or in people leadership would be an asset.
