About the Role


CBRE is looking for a Research Analyst to join our Canada Research team as a part of the research function that supports and collaborates with local research teams across the country.

This is an in-person role and requires someone in Toronto that can be in the office regularly.

As a CBRE Research Analyst, you'll support the research team by performing certain regular tasks around the collection and analysis of core commercial real estate data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the team's production and delivery of research materials.


What You'll Do

  • Collect, review and consolidate quarterly statistical and investment data submissions from various stakeholder groups and local markets across the country.
  • Lead coordination efforts with stakeholder groups and local markets across the country for diverse research projects.
  • Support in ensuring compliance with due diligence procedures concerning the quality and accuracy of real estate data, quarterly statistics, and related reports.
  • Contribute to the creation of informative research reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
  • Analyze, create and update content on current trends in the commercial real estate market.
  • Respond efficiently to broker requests for content or support, including data, slides, reports, and guidance on data sources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university, preferably in real estate, economics, finance, or geography.
  • Some relevant experience is preferred.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
  • Resourceful and proactive selfmotivated individual.
  • Possess a positive work attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
