Join Our Team as a Research Analyst at The Harris Poll

The Harris Poll is looking for a Research Analyst to collaborate with Maru's North and East Research Team on various research initiatives and assist in resolving clients' business challenges. This role involves working alongside experienced researchers, project managers, and industry experts in a dynamic and motivated team environment. The contributions of this Analyst will help offer insights and guidance to clients in sectors such as Financial Services, Not-For-Profit, Utilities, and Telco. The ideal candidate should have experience in market research using diverse primary research methods, including quantitative and qualitative approaches, and be familiar with survey tools and project management.

We are seeking individuals who are inquisitive, team players, and forward-thinkers to collaborate with clients as partners, problem-solvers, and champions of high-quality research. This position calls for a goal-oriented individual with exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. The role also entails managing multiple projects concurrently and fostering internal and client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in fulfilling client research requirements and proposing innovative ideas and solutions that go beyond client expectations.
  • Engage in survey design, questionnaire development, and report preparation under senior guidance.
  • Oversee multiple projects across client accounts effectively and manage time efficiently.
  • Act as the main contact for research operations, ensuring project timelines are met and providing regular progress updates.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of research projects by conducting comprehensive secondary research for each engagement.
  • Collaborate with research and project management teams to oversee fieldwork and data processing processes from start to finish.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in survey or market research, either on the client or supplier side.
  • Exposure to complex global research and/or tracking studies is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in developing screeners, questionnaires, guides, and reports.
  • Strong data visualization skills.
  • Creative thinking, strategic problem-solving, and independent decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic about collaborating in a team-oriented setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related software, with SPSS knowledge being a plus.
