Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Sales Planner is responsible for the development of strategic assortment plans that facilitate the growth of Canada Goose D2C and Wholesale channels by partnering with merchandising, planning, production, procurement, marketing, sales ops and other various cross functional teams.

Execute the end-to-end sales planning process through assortment selection, sales forecasting, inventory management, and analyzing sales results for the Footwear and Accessories categories

What you will do in this role:

  • Collaborate to build assortment plans for each channel that align to production/procurement capabilities and to marketing launch timelines
  • Recommend and track monthly completion of production impacting the flow of assortment plans/order book
  • Build effective partnerships with Merchandising, Planning, Production & Procurement Teams to develop multichannel product forecasts according to longrange plans (LRP)
  • Work with Wholesale and DTC Planning on recommended product flow, cluster volumes, category & classification penetration, AUR, SKU volume, and sizing
  • Support design vision while ensuring product line is a wellbalanced mix that supports the tiering models/structures intended
  • Monitor and recommend postmarket revisions to assortment and production schedules by collaborating with cross functional partners
  • Monitor global sellthrough & regional trends in order to provide teams with sales, product, colour, size and category insights.
  • Provide Ad hoc inseason analysis to determine future product opportunities
  • Keep abreast of competitive environment/trends at all price points in respective categories and all relative categories.
  • Assist in managing a timeandaction calendar with crossfunctional deadlines

What we are looking for from you:

  • 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in global markets
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of MS Office with advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excellent product sensibility
  • Team oriented with ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the development and production process
