Corporate Client Sales Executives drive company revenue through end to end sales, seeking opportunities to provide existing Emburse clients with enhanced value through cloud-based travel, expense, AP and payments solutions built to humanize the workplace.


Client Sales Executives will be responsible for upsell and cross sell to existing Emburse clients and growing revenue in their book of business.

Through a defined sales process and partnership with key sales and cross functional stakeholders, Client Sales Executives will strive to meet and exceed quarterly sales goals.


What you'll do:

  • Develop new sales accepted opportunities via renewals conversations with current clients within a marketing and salesdriven focused list of client accounts that meets the expected quota of the assigned sales segment
  • Expand current client contracts via upsell and extending annual contract terms to increase overall ARR of the client contract
  • Build and cultivate prospective relationships by initiating communications and conducting followup communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel; scheduling needs analysis calls and demonstrations for the General Business Client markets assigned sales segment.
  • Work with Client Sales Executives, Client Marketing, and VPs of Client Sales to develop and grow the sales pipeline
  • Manage data on renewing clients by updating new accounts and contacts' roles, contact information, prospecting notes, technology stack, and other important information in order to maintain proper data hygiene. Contribute to quarterly additions and omissions of ICP list based on direct communication and likelihood of winning business.
  • Articulate the value of Emburse Solutions with strong presentation skills
  • Effectively lead upsell opportunities throughout the entire sales process
  • Conduct research on specific Accounts and Contacts, leveraging Gainsight, Salesforce, Looker, Demandbase, etc, to familiarize, understand and implement key pieces of customized information for targeted and personalized communication

What we're looking for:

  • A college degree is preferred but not required. Equivalent years of relevant experience may substitute
  • Knowledge of travel & expense management and/or AP automation highly preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently finishing above quarterly and annual quota
  • Working knowledge of Salesloft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, Gong, Gainsight, Looker, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Experience with telephone sales calling, techniques and etiquette within a professional B2B market
  • Strong influencing and objection handling skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, preferably Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Slides, Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and successfully
  • Excellent professional etiquette and communication skills with leadership, crossfunctional partners, and other Emburse employees that effectively represents the Sales Development team.
  • Strong presentation skills
