We are looking to add a
Electronic Circuit Board Assembler to our Lindsay team.

Electronic Circuit Board Assembler Responsibilities

  • Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available;
  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed;
  • Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties quarantine if needed;
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures to comply with Measurement Canada, ISO, TUV and QPS;
  • Assembly of all circuit boards making up the METER MANAGER product line;
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks;
  • Accurate and detailed time sheets will be maintained recording time spent on all phases of assembly and the specific boards involved;
  • Compliance with guidelines set out for proper handling procedures while within the designated antistatic board assembly areas.

Experience/Knowledge/Ability:

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a level of professionalism;
  • Ability to effectively resolve problems and provide recommendations;
  • Demonstrates confidence;
  • Solid product and services knowledge;
  • Adaptable and resourceful;
  • Ensure proper use of soldering equipment;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of soldering equipment;
  • Experience working in manufacturing facility is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Appropriate safety wear is required;
  • Sitting for long periods of time;
  • Manual dexterity, hand eye coordination, repetitive tasks;
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • Exposure to noise, tools & equipment.
