Ltd. (BAM Re) is a newly established division of Brookfield, which has been established by Brookfield to own and operate a leading reinsurance business focused on providing capital-based solutions to insurance companies and their stakeholders.   • Key Accountabilities
  • Support trade settlement and lifecycle management across fixedincome, equities and derivatives positions
  • Lead various reconciliation process
  • Communicate with counterparties and custodians on trade information flow, including activity across DTC and other clearinghouses to ensure proper trade settlement and reporting
  • Assist in liquidity management, reconciliation of cash balances across accounts and generate reports for the investment team
  • Develop dashboards and regular reporting for senior management, investment, risk and legal functions including investment compliance, risk, performance and other adhoc needs
  • Liaise with external provider of position reporting and risk analytics (Aladdin), and review and reconcile investment holdings and activity
  • Collaborate with investment accounting team on compiling monthly position reports
  • Support onboarding and KYC process with trade counterparties
  • 23 years of experience and a CPA/CFA/CAIA designation is preferred
  • Experience with alternative asset classes and fixed income, exposure to insurance is an asset
  • Experience in investment operations with in dept knowledge of reconciliations
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Thorough and meticulous with extreme focus on details
  • Superior communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Team oriented with good coaching skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
  • Ability to multitask with good time management skills to meet multiple reporting deadlines
  • Good process management skills
