Be part of our Information & Technology (I&T) team, a crucial component that keeps our operations running smoothly and securely.

From enterprise architecture to operational technology, our teams use agile methodology to automate and digitize our railroad, ensuring optimal and safe operations while enabling our employees to focus on value-added tasks.

The Specialist Identity and Access Management (IAM) serves as a subject matter expert and offers guidance on integrating new solutions into IAM practices and tools.

This role involves coordinating initiatives and projects for the team in collaboration with internal and external partners.

  • Ensure adherence to IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Review and enhance operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement in provisioning/de-provisioning, privileged access management, authentication/authorization, etc.
  • Standardize IAM processes and ensure their alignment with policies and standards.
  • Develop, review, and maintain strategic and tactical IAM initiatives to enhance usability and operational effectiveness while reducing risks.
  • Lead and provide guidance in implementing complex IAM projects, from prioritization to successful on-time deployment.
  • Transition projects to core operations and handle core, project, and change requests within the domain.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management
  • Experience with a Central Identity & Access Management tool such as IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM), Sailpoint, or Saviynt
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • ITIL Management framework – Identity and Access Management
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English

Technical Skills/Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of privileged access management solution, preferably CyberArk
  • In-depth knowledge of identity management solutions, preferably Saviynt
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow
  • Understanding of PKI Management
  • Knowledge of Windows/Unix environments
  • Identity Federation and Privileged Access Management
  • Expertise in security within various operating systems
  • Familiarity with corporate organizational structures and operational processes

The Specialist Identity and Access Management plays a vital role within CN's I&T, ensuring the quality of technology and services delivered and providing valuable recommendations to assist in decision-making.

This role interfaces directly with key stakeholders across the organization, including Change Management, Release Management, Build and Operations Teams, Business and End Users, Process Managers and Analysts, Application Support teams, Information Security, Internal Audit, and Human Resources.
