We are on the lookout for a Producer to join our Toronto office to join our growing Production team.

You'll be working alongside an enthusiastic group of talented teammates across multiple departments, supporting key productions for socially-led campaigns, activations, and editorial content. This includes in-office (hybrid) and on-set production duties such as creating and distributing call sheets, booking equipment, prop purchases, and supporting crew on-set, and more.

Reporting into our Senior Producer, you and your growing team will be working across the entire agency with an eagle-eye level of detail. Bring your production network, bring your entrepreneurial energy, bring your love for creativity

What does this role involve?

  • Help execute shoots, events and other project work across socially lead campaigns and extending into integrated campaigns
  • Work with Client teams and others in the development of ballparks, estimates and production project workflow (timelines, manage external production partners, QA final work ahead of shipping, etc)
  • Day-to-day communication with creatives, accounts and any external crew assigned to projects
  • Ensure any contracts, releases and invoices are filed and submitted, as well update internal production status documents
  • Work with team to ensure that production timelines are being met
  • Support in crew & vendor outreach during pre-production
  • Create and distribute call sheets, shot lists & pre-production books
  • Assist with any production pick-ups and returns including props, equipment, talent etc.
  • Be an extra pair of hands on-set when needed
  • Collaborate with WAS Project Managers on overlapping projects
  • Work with Finance and Operations reconciliations

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years production experience within an agency or production house as a producer
  • Passion for culture, creativity, art, social media, and of course, organisation
  • Experienced in managing projects involving brand content, digital, social, print, video, and events deliverables
  • Knowledge of line production (able to work with and without a production house)
  • A proactive can-do attitude and works great under pressure
  • Proactivity, natural at anticipating challenges and can articulate solutions to relevant people when required
  • Good with finances; you understand that effort equals budget-spend and you stay on top of budgets throughout all projects assigned
  • Familiar with digital/social agency turn-around times and ways of working -- good understanding of the dynamics of agency processes and enjoys the pace and challenges this brings
  • Full G Drivers Licence is a must
