Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Employee, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the quality standards of our cosmetic products.

You will be responsible for conducting various quality assurance activities, including viscosity readings, batch testing, documentation, line inspection, and weight calibration.

Your attention to detail and expertise in cosmetic quality will be crucial in identifying and resolving any quality-related issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular viscosity readings of cosmetic products to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct batch testing to evaluate product quality, including sensory attributes, pH levels, microbial load, and stability.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of quality tests, inspections, and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough line inspections to identify any deviations from quality standards, ensuring that products meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Calibrate weighing scales and perform weight checks to ensure accurate measurements during production.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including production, R&D, and regulatory departments, to resolve qualityrelated issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to cosmetic quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetology) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance within the cosmetic industry, with a strong understanding of cosmetic quality requirements and standards.
  • Proficient in conducting viscosity readings, batch testing, documentation, line inspection, and weight calibration.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify quality issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines governing cosmetics, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.

Salary:
$15.50-$19.00 per hour
