Bureau Veritas is looking for a
Laboratory Analyst to join our environmental laboratory in Ste-Foy, QC.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • To provide general support in the analysis of samples, and to perform complex sample preparation;
  • Perform analyses on samples and complex samples preparation;
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure accuracy and quality of work;
  • Ensure that quality control criteria are met for all reported data;
  • Understand and troubleshoot analyses;
  • Provide input to corrective action procedures;
  • Ensure deadlines are met and that the equipment is appropriately maintained;
  • Use summary reports to plan and organize work;
  • Any other related tasks.
  • Have a diploma and/or equivalence in a scientific field;
  • Have experience in a laboratory (strong asset);
  • Have the ability to work in a fastpaced environment;
  • Have good timemanagement, communication, multitasking and priority setting skills;
  • Are dynamic, energetic, motivated and have a positive outlook.

Working conditions:

  • Work schedule: evening or night shift and weekends (depending on needs, possibility of overtime)
  • Status: Full time, 37.5h/week
