GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Ensure accurate shipment and receipt of goods, correct packing and processing of orders in a timely and cost-effective manner.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform standard tasks safely by adhering to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Operate forklift and/or pallet jack for material movement.
  • Properly pack, label, and prepare items for shipping.
  • Maintain precise shipping records.
  • Safely load outbound freight.
  • Unload incoming trailer deliveries and handle necessary documentation.
  • Identify, record, and suggest resolutions for any product or process issues.
  • Participate in inventory processes and cycle counts.
  • Receive cross-training to assist in other production functions as required.
  • Clean and upkeep designated work area.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: No formal educational prerequisites.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: No formal experience prerequisites.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to perform various physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

The hourly rate for this position typically ranges from $19.05 to $21.05, based on employee qualifications, operational needs, and other permissible considerations.
