The Securities Officer focuses on accurately reflecting any changes, resulting from various physical securities, including warrant and rights exercises.

This individual uses their deep understanding of both reorganization procedures, implications, and the software's capabilities or limitations, to effectively process exchanges in an accurate and timely manner.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely receipt of all incoming securities, physical & electronic form, verifying its validity & negotiability


 Rights and Warrants
  • Process the distribution of rights and warrants and manage any exercise instructions received via Investment Advisor correspondence.
  • Reorg Processing includes legend removals, escrow agreements, splits, transfers, and elections.
  • Deposits, Withdrawals, and exchanges
  • Monitor and process CDS deposits (domestic), as well as US security deposits, withdrawals, and physical reorgs, via DTC.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize and manage high volumes of transactions.
  • The ability to work independently and within a group.
  • Ability to take on new challenges and responsibilities if they arise.
  • Strong attention to detail, with good analytical skills.
  • Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
