About STACKTx - the expansion project:

A dedicated community for Canadian small businesses. Driven through a digital and physical platform focused on XCCELERATING SMALL BUSINESS through community-driven partnership, access, and opportunity. STACKTx has launched with foundational partners who share our passion for growing and celebrating Canadian Entrepreneurs. The feature benefit of the program is a 1-month FREE lease of a storefront at a STACKTx location. As of Summer 2024, STACKT x will expand into three (3) new markets, with physical locations in - Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa. In the first phase, there will be over 50 grants awarded to Canadian small businesses through the Xccelerator Program.

Together, building an ecosystem of expertise, tools, learning and experience. Authentically connecting partners to Small Businesses, and Small Businesses to the information, connections, and opportunities they need.

About the Position:

Reporting directly to the Program Supervisor, the Program Coordinator will support the development of the STACKTx program and aid in the programming and activations within the physical and digital channels but not limited to. You will play an essential role in curating the program's ecosystem across key resources that amplify both the partners and small businesses participating. You will play a strong role in ensuring that the businesses, partners and community programs are designed to drive intentional impact and are well-represented with key information on an ongoing basis.

Role + Responsibilities:

Support the development and management of the STACKTx program, including but not limited to:

  • Lead and support end-to-end processes from different activations and programming within STACKTx, including but not limited to physical and digital-based programs such as brand activations, vendor markets, alumni socials or private events, digital seminars, tutorials, community/network promotions and other program initiatives developed.
  • Create, develop, and execute activation plans according to the company strategy, on budget and on time.
  • Lead the execution of our monthly STACKTx Storefront Grant program, which provides a 8-week package to over 48 Small Business winners and includes a unique 1-month storefront pop-up across 4 STACKT locations (Toronto flagship, and the three new locations: Ottawa, Calgary & Vancouver). This includes outreach and collaborating with marketing to drive participation, reviewing candidate applications, communicating with finalists and winners, facilitating onboarding of new residents, processing contract paperwork, acting as the direct point of contact for residents during their residency and collecting and analyzing data post-residency.
  • Manage program activations' financial and administrative processes (e.g., budget, quoting, invoicing, reporting).
  • Plan, build and maintain a calendar of activation events for STACKTx.
  • Support client management in aligning expectations, logistics, and administration.
  • Provide support in the outreach and sales efforts to potential clients about activation opportunities, ensuring that they align with STACKT's brand values and company/financial targets.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as required to ensure successful activations.
  • Support the leadership team by being the primary or secondary contact for on-site activations and key events/dates.
  • Aid in the logistics required to set up and tear down on-site activations (e.g., public events, retail pop-ups, partner vendor market activations)
  • Assess and build activations' results through collecting and reporting quantitative and qualitative data (e.g., surveys, statistics, feedback) and share results internally and with clients or partners.
  • Create and share internal and external presentation decks (e.g., sales, pipeline, clients, reports).
  • Support and work closely with other departments (e.g., events, marketing, festivals, partnerships, F+B) in any other activity related to this role to ensure flawless execution.
  • Lead, execute or support other deliverables directed by the company and may change from time to time based on business needs.

  • Possess strong proactive planning, managing, and coordinating skills.

Education + Experience:

  • 1-3 years of event or brand activation experience, preferably with a focus on experiential marketing and in a fast-paced, professional setting.
  • Experience with executing contractual agreements related to brand activation campaigns.
  • Experience with financial management and data reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, with competence in Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Drive structures.
  • High school diploma, college/university is preferred or relevant experience.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience and knowledge of digital platforms that support the STACKTx expansion nationally, such as Slack, , Salesforce, etc.
  • Experience and knowledge of managing websites as a lead generation and engagement tool; leveraging platforms like WordPress, MailChimp, Google Analytics.
