With resources in oil and gas regions globally, we provide comprehensive engineering, design, procurement, construction, and project management.
Reporting to the Lab Manager, the Senior Research Chemist plays a key role in developing new product and technology opportunities for the water product line. Responsibilities include leading lab projects, building prototypes, developing test plans, and supporting the commercialization of new technologies.
This position requires integrity, commitment, and creativity to drive the organization forward. It is based in our Calgary Water Solutions location.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop, adapt, and improve Enerflex Water Solutions products
- Design prototype units
- Maintain industry engagement to keep EWS ahead
- Identify product opportunities
- Develop lab test plans
- Generate presentation materials
- Stay updated on chemical technology advancements
Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in produced water and oil and gas
- M.Sc. Engineering or PhD
- Experience in research and product development
- Experience in water chemistry and lab analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project)
- Excellent time management
- Strong communication skills
