The team is responsible for the seasonal planning of Lululemon's production requirements while collaborating with cross functional partners to understand demand and work with vendors to mitigate capacity risk.
a day in the life- Manage seasonal style allocations in collaboration with sourcing Pods, communicate forecasts to vendors and secure capacity to meet the business requirements.
- Communicate with planning and merchandising teams to understand forecast variances and provide opportunities and recommendations to mitigate capacity risks by working with vendors.
- Collaborate with cross functional partners to manage core replenishment and speed to market initiatives with vendors.
- Manage multisourcing strategy to mitigate risks and ensure supply continuity.
- Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Well adept in Excel
- 35 years' experience working in apparel sourcing, supply planning
- Understanding of the apparel supply chain and experience of working with offshore manufacturers
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with a variety of cross functional partners
