Summary
The Business Operations Consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Designing, implementing and monitoring operational projects, business processes and IT systems to improve functional efficiency and effectiveness within the business operations
  • Supporting the development of our people and team effectiveness, including areas such as recruitment, training and workforce planning
  • Developing and managing internal and external communications plans to dive operational effectiveness and to promote the business and company brand.
  • Performing financial analysis and preparing reporting materials (presentations, visualizations, summaries) and updating management on the status and performance of various operational initiatives

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a competitive field, preferably commerce, management, finance
  • One to three years of work experience in management consulting, process management, or operational consulting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required; experience with VBA, SQL is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives or projects, with strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Innovative and creative thinker who can evaluate and overhaul operational processes
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment that requires high initiative, mínimal supervision and an ability to address shifting priorities in a highpressure environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with remote and geographically dispersed teams
