ABOUT THE TEAM
Join a dynamic and forward-thinking team known as the Risk Advisory Services (RAS) team, which collaborates with various business functions to safeguard, enhance, and expand its technology and infrastructure, governance, people, and programs. The team's initiatives include strategic projects, risk management efforts, assurance activities, and advisory projects across multiple well-known brands.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Senior Analyst, you will lead and contribute to impactful risk engagements, fostering relationships with cross-functional stakeholders in critical operational and strategic areas. We're seeking a proactive individual with a curious and business-driven mindset, possessing strong critical thinking, data visualization, and interpersonal skills to tackle key business challenges.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and Execute risk management activities - Analyze and communicate significant business issues, prepare materials for Risk Assessments, and deliver Periodic/Quarterly Risk Reporting.
- Work directly with key business stakeholders - Produce visual presentations capturing current and emerging risks and opportunities.
- Establish risk monitoring protocols - Evaluate effectiveness of risk mitigation and ensure timely remediation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships - Understand challenges impacting the business and propose strategic solutions.
- Develop and present visual reporting material - Deliver impactful presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Assurance & Advisory and ICFR functions - Align and execute risk and compliance activities to ensure proper business coverage.
- Lead initiatives to enhance service delivery - Propose innovative solutions and improve risk management processes.
- Perform ad-hoc requests - Support management with additional tasks as required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES
- Minimum 2 years of business operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Professional designations (MBA, CPA, PMP, CRM, CIA, CISA) are assets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong business acumen and communication skills
- Understanding of risk management theory and application
- Enthusiastic learner with problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and passion for making an impact
