Position Available:

***Aviation Systems Support Coordinator

  • Status**:Permanent Fulltime, Non-Union, 20 months
  • Location**:5310 Explorer Drive, Mississauga, ON
  • Reports To**:Manager, Flight Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Duties of the Aviation Systems Support Coordinator include but are not limited to
:

  • Project and Change Management planning
:

  • Implement new projects (develop project plan, tailoring to reflect project needs)
  • Organize a project team to perform work
  • Develop the supporting plans
  • Obtain stakeholder approval
  • Project and change process execution
:

  • Manage and monitor quality targets and goals, risk response strategies and daily activities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Project control and reporting
:

  • Develop and distribute project performance reports and corrective action plans
  • Evaluate project performance and initiate change requests as required
  • Track progress of all new and ongoing projects and coordinate meetings as required
  • Analysis
  • Develop, execute, and distribute, daily, monthly, and annual OTP reports
  • Review and analyse AVAIO data to ensure data integrity
  • Provide reports as required
  • Aviation Support
  • Act as a liaison between the Aviation department and other departments as required.
  • Collect and provide monthly updates on ongoing projects/work from all staff in the Aviation department.
  • Staff Uniform
  • Research/source new uniform items and products, while keeping directors informed
  • Order/purchase stock when required
  • Create requisitions and provide po# to vendors
  • Approve invoices in sap
  • Work with new hires and guide them through the uniform process.
  • Update the portal when necessary (create new accounts, disabling accounts when employees leave, changes to contact info, correcting points, ensure new items are added, etc.)
  • Analyze and resolve employee issues and/or special requests which pertain to uniforms
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS**:
  • Post
  • secondary education in a relevant field
  • PMP Certificate is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of government standards as they relate to aircraft industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; including the ability to write processes procedures and policies in concise, effective reports,
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills,
  • Selfdirection and accountability for specific outcomes and deadlines, an ability to set priorities, as well as manage shifting priorities and timelines,
  • Work well both collaboratively and independently,
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and computer skills (MS Office).
