GardaWorld's Toronto branch is currently hiring a Human Resources Manager for our Security Services business line.

The Human Resources Manager will work with internal management team to provide day-to-day support, as well as be a key player in the development and execution of HR policies.

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the human resources department.
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.

Provide strategic guidance and training to managers on best practices for addressing employees including handling disciplinary actions, terminations, progressive discipline, and conflict resolution.

Bridge management and employee relations for unionized and non-unionized employees by addressing grievances, arbitrations or other issues.
Provide coaching, development, support, and direction to the human resources team.
Bachelors degree in human resources or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience driving results in the labour relations and/or human resources field.
Proven track record of leading and managing a team.

A strong understanding of labour relations, policies and procedures, employment legislation (work experience with Federal and Provincial legislations is ideal), and collective agreements is also required.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of implementing HR initiatives that drive organizational success.
