Truck Tanker Mechanic

Our client is looking for 310T or 310J Tractor trailer mechanics to join their team to conduct maintenance, inspections and repairs on tankers from various clients and applications.
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following duties:
- Troubleshooting and repairing tanks
- Inspections and engine repair
- Diagnose repair and modify air, electric, brake and suspension, systems
- You may need to use respirator while working in confined spaces and overhead welding inside of tankers
- Welding at heights as required
- Knowledge of ABS systems
Qualified candidates MUST possess the following skills and experience:
- 310T or 310J Tractor trailer certifications
- Previous experience working as a mechanic
- Experience with Hydraulic/Pneumatic brakes systems
- Welding experience with some custom fabrication
- Comfortable wearing PPE (respirator, earplugs, safety boots)
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Shift: Days: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Afternoons: 3:30pmto 11:30pm
Location: Burlington – Appleby and QEW – not easily transit accessible
