Description
- Troubleshooting and repairing tanks (i.e. propane tanks on trucks)
- Inspections and engine repairs
- Diagnose, repair and modify air, electric, brake and suspension system
- Might include use of a respirator, confined spaces, and overhead welding
- May be welding at heights (working at heights not a must have but an asset)
- Cross-training as a welder to learn other areas of business
- Knowledge of ABS (anti-lock brake system)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Troubleshooting - needs experience working with different projects to have seen a variety of situations they could face. Must be able to independently evaluate a problem and diagnose the way the fix it. A more junior candidate should have at least shadowed multiple tasks to under
- Hydraulic/Pneumatics- Need experience with either of these, working with truck brakes, or a related apprenticeship. Can be very junior but need to understand how to troubleshoot common truck fixes.
- 1-3 years' experience with 310T or 310J ticket
NICE TO HAVES
- pressure welding or gauge experience
- valves and vents experience
- inspection experience
- diagnosis of electrical and pneumatic parts
Shifts:
Day OR Afternoon
Days - 7am - 3:30pm
Afternoons - 3:30pm - 11:30pm
