Provide exceptional customer service

  • Record and keep the daily work schedule updated at all times
  • Pack and sort the cases per the Production Scheduler and driver routes
  • Dispatch drivers after verifying their loads per company procedures
  • Respond, log and dispatch clients request for pickups
  • Periodically verify the completeness of the pickup log with the receptionist
  • Maintain contact with drivers and log their deliveries and pickups
  • Hand over the dispatch to the next shift as per company procedures
  • Clear drivers to return to base and verify that there are no undelivered cases
  • Communicate with Doctor's office of any change of delivery schedule as soon as possible
  • Sign off on daily page of drivers schedule and dispatch copy of daily work schedule
  • Prepare packages to be sent out by couriers such as Fedex, ICS, and Purolator.
  • Clock in and out using the barcode time management system
  • Bring to the immediate notice of the Manager any unusual situations
  • Make deliveries and pickups as required on an emergency basis
  • Invoice all cases as they are delivered to the Dispatch department
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must have a reliable vehicle available for use during working hours
  • Must have excellent knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Must be able to maintain working relations with the team of drivers
  • Must have initiative and be creative in effective problem solving
  • Must be willing to learn and comply with the company's policies
  • Must be courteous to clients, staff and suppliers
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are needed. Must be fluent in English
  • Experience needed in a similar role

From $20.00 per hour
