Procurement Specialist I

About the Role:
This is a 1 year contract role while our coworker is out on maternity leave. We have a solid track record of hiring our contractors that perform well Responsible for vendor purchasing, Inventory management, order management and billing processes to mitigate risk and enable profitability. Aligned with business teams in support of the business group's strategies and financial goals. Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze, evaluate and make buying decisions on run rate product recommendations
- Executes drop ship and or inventory Vendor PO for mínimally complex and less complex vendors
- Ensure adherence with vendor t's and c's to avoid negative financial impact to the business
- Order Management: Problem resolution and order maintenance
- Timely drop ship billing for accurate revenue recognition
- Accountable for escalated issues from vendor, internal stakeholders and customers and to establish resolution and communicate back.
- Executes cost adjustments, PO disputes and shipping and receiving issue resolutions to avoid PandL impact
- RMA stock rotation evaluates and makes decisions to mitigate financial risk
What We're Looking For:
- Entry Level (0 to 1 Years of relevant work experience) is required.
- Bachelor's Degree business, supply chain preferred
- Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Able to use common office equipment.
- Possesses strong data entry skills
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decisionmaking.
- Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
- Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.
- Able to interact effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above)
- Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
- Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
- Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
- Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
- Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
- Able to effectively multitask.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.
Working Conditions:
- Occasional nonstandard work hours or overtime as business requires.
