Lake Lenore Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Agronomist on a temporary basis (12 months) for our Agro team in Lake Lenore, SK.
Who we are:
What you'll do:
- Demonstrate daytoday behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen the Cooperative's vision, mission, values, and brand.
- Sales of crop inputs, nutrition products and farm equipment through the development of customer and supplier relationships
- Provide agronomy services through soil sampling, field scouting, showcase equipment and complete followup calls
- Work with reps/farmers on trials for new products.
- Blend fertilizer
- Maintain inventory control, ordering and data reporting through in house programming
- Keeping up to date on potential disease and insect issues.
- Load/delivery of all products sold by the Lake Lenore Coop Ltd.
- Launch and promote FCL's new Digital AG Platform
- Install signage to promote Humboldt Coop and their offerings
- Be familiar and adhere to all Lake Lenore Coop's policies, procedures, and standards, including safety, environmental and asset protection/loss prevention.
- Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
- You have a Grade 12 education.
- You have a degree or diploma in Agriculture or Agribusiness
- Professional certifications (CCA, PAg) or working towards is an asset
- You have a minimum of 13 years of relevant agriculture experience
- You have a valid Class 5 Driver's license
- Strong agricultural background in sales, accounts management, and agronomy
- You are honest and trustworthy, teamoriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
