SCS Consulting Group is a consulting engineering firm providing services to the land development industry throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

Our services include the design and contract administration of municipal infrastructure for residential subdivisions, and institutional, commercial, and industrial site plans.

Your position will be Field Inspector/ Survey Technician.

Your duties will generally consist of daily site inspections and monitoring of construction projects assigned by SCS Consulting Group Ltd.

This work will be undertaken under the guidance of a more senior SCS staff member.

The Field Inspector/ Survey Technician is required to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:

  • Drone Surveying (Training provided);
  • Layout and topographical surveying;
  • Inspection of construction activities;
  • Program Management assistance for project planning, scheduling and estimating, engineering, design, construction bid preparation, evaluation and award recommendations, construction oversight, quality control, progress evaluation and payment approval recommendations;
  • Construction Administration services;
  • Construction related QA/QC services; and
  • Must have vehicle and valid driver's license.
