Logistics Coordinator is the focal point of communication for the operation team and various truck drivers with efficiency being the key goal at all times.

Logistics Coordinator must perform a range of duties supporting floor operational staff to make sure it runs business smoothly.

Reporting To:

  • The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Manager
  • Regional (Vancouver)

Responsibilities

  • Organizing truck deliveries and routing as daily basis
  • Coordinating and monitoring tucking movement daily in inbound(return), outbound delivery
  • Tracking & tracing/monitoring shipment status and relaying status to customer(s)
  • Preparing all necessary shipping document for carriers,
  • Ensuring all inbound/outbound shipments are accurately logged and paperwork is completed and submitted as required
  • Invoice preparation of completed customer orders
  • Auditing invoices and allocating transportation expenses into general ledger accounts
  • Monitoring shipment, costs, timelines, and productivity
  • Resolving any issue(s) that may arise during the transportation
  • Ensuring all shipment data is entered and recorded accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate with facility and client to ensure business requirements are met
  • Maintain positive relationships with all customer, vendors and carriers including addressing any inquiries, issues, and concerns
  • Conduct reporting for all transportation activities including outbound/inbound transportation, efficiency, and service level metrics

Requirements:

  • College or university degree in businessrelated major or combination of coursework and experience required.
- +1 years of experience as administration, logistics and other business related field is an asset

  • Excellent communication skills within team environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to attract and maintain relation with customers
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in a fastpaced warehouse work environment
  • Bilingualism in English and Korean is an asset.
