Program Description:


The focus of the placement is to provide students with learning disabilities with additional support in the areas of literacy with a focus on reading and written expression.

Use of assistive technology to access curriculum is an integral part of the program.


Students in these classes are experiencing significant difficulties with grade level curriculum for a variety of reasons, and they may have additional exceptionalities in addition to a learning disability, making their learning profiles very complex.


First consideration for posted vacancies will be given to qualified applicants from the employee group in which the vacancy occurs.
