Position Summary

The Digital Project Management Office (PMO) team plans and implements key strategic Digital programs and projects to deliver outcomes benefiting UHN and the health system. We apply best practices for managing projects, change, and risk to ensure high quality deliverables, effective coordination of resources, and transparent progress reporting. Members of the PMO work in close partnership with a broad range of stakeholders, bringing the right teams together to streamline the demand, end-to-end delivery, and operational services in order to mobilize change and achieve value.

An exciting opportunity is available to showcase your talents as a Senior Project Manager on the Integration of West Park Healthcare Centre (West Park) and University Health Network (UHN) project. This multi-year project is aligned with the Ministry of Health's "Building Ontario's Leading Integrated Rehabilitation Health System".

We are seeking a highly proficient project and change management leader who will oversee and support the following West Park transformational initiatives:

Development of overall West Park roadmap identification and approach to digital integration Efforts to support Digital infrastructure alignment: Office 365 licensing and Active Directory consolidation, IT service management onboarding, and cyber security alignment Finance & Supply Chain system and process alignment including planning and implementing SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, and Adaptive adoption at the West Park site UHN RCC Building Reactivation deployment Development and integration of Digital organizational structure, technologies and processes for West Park merger

Duties

Assume overall end-to-end ownership of program planning and delivery for a mix of projects, including large initiatives with complex technical, change management, and operationalization requirements Mobilize a cross-functional team with the right mix of talent and skills to execute on of short-term and long-term plans Regularly interface with project sponsors and stakeholders at various levels to build and maintain strong relationships for successful project and program delivery Establish and maintain strong program and project management office controls, including management of scope, schedule, budget, procurement, financial and value delivery Analyze, resolve and make recommendations to resolve project issues, considering functionality, cost, risk and quality, as well as managing and controlling the West Park budget and project change requests Manage and coach assigned project management staff; this includes responsibilities for recruiting, staff development, performance management and resource allocation Maintain a strong focus on governance, change management and communications with an emphasis on outcomes, value delivery, and customer service Proactively identify and manage risks and issues with appropriate escalation to senior leadership Ensure timely development and delivery of key presentations and regular project status updates to the project governance bodies, including executive steering committees and executive forums Be part of an on-call leadership rotation schedule to support UHN Digital's emergency response to critical information system downtimes Contribute to continuous improvement of project and change management tools and processes within the Project Management Office Centre of Excellence

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years Project Management experience required Minimum 5 years Program Management experience preferred Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field required Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred Minimum 5 years SAP experience preferred Experience in SAP master data management and data conversion/migration preferred Experience in delivery of technology and transformation projects in healthcare organizations required Excellent team building, coaching, and group facilitation skills Excellent presentation, writing and training skills Excellent budget management skills and proficiency in data analytics to support IT investments Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large, complex programs with diverse teams using full-cycle project management, program management, and change management methodologies required Supervisory or managerial experience required Experience in formal procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management required Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills at the executive and senior management level Strong strategic critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail Proficient use of computer software, and peripheral equipment ( M365 tools, MS Project, MS Visio, and scrum or enterprise work management tools such as Kanban, Atlassian JIRA, ServiceNow)
